Milos

Lagada beach is a pretty long beach with golden-white sand in Adamas where one can go and walks up to the port of Milos. The beach of Lagada is generally quiet but organized, with umbrellas and deck chairs provided free of charge by our hotel

Small by the sea village, well organized and proper for swimming and fishing. You can see there the small boat houses surrounding the gulf. At the end of the gulf there is the abandoned loading ladder and the church of Saint Nicolas.

200-meter long stretch of white powdery sand slipping into the calm emerald waters of the sea. Resembling a natural oversized pool, this beautiful sandy beach is not organized and provides a secluded spot for swimming, sunbathing and the ultimate relaxation experience away from crowd. Trees provide shade for the swimmers and the shallow crystal waters are ideal fro families with small children.  There aren't many amenities near the beach.

The museum hosts collections of prehistoric findings from the excavations of Phylakopi, sculptures, obsidian gemstones, ancient inscriptions and tools used in everyday life

Situated in Plaka the Folk museum of Milos will travel visitors through the island’s tradition. Resembling a traditional home from the 19th century, the museum hoststraditional costumes, embroidery, home utensils and appliances, traditional drawings and artifacts.

The Mining Museum of Milos offers an extensive collection of mining equipment, rocks and minerals introducing visitors to the mining history and geophysical heritage of the volcanic island of Milos.

The Naval Museum holds exhibits related to the naval past of the island, including artifacts from the prehistoric period, obsidian tools, historical displays from battles, rare maps as well as a locally crafted wooden boat.
